Bio for Charles D. Musselman Jr. (Charlie)
Charlie has over 27 years of combined federal service in the Department of State and the United States Air Force. He is a retired Air Force Judge Advocate General's Corps trained attorney and served as the Deputy Commandant and as an instructor at the Air Force Judge Advocate General’s School. In his last military assignment, he led a college-level officer training program that commissioned graduates as Air Force officers.
Prior to earning his Virginia real estate license, Charlie completed a Master of Laws degree at the George Washington University School of Law and a Juris Doctor degree at the Chicago-Kent College of Law. He also earned a Master’s degree in finance at Colorado State University and a Bachelor’s degree in labor and industrial relations at Penn State University.
Charlie has maintained a passion for real estate throughout his professional career, buying his first home at age 24. He has lived in several communities in Northern Virginia including Arlington, Falls Church, and Herndon. He currently resides with his wife and two sons in Ashburn. His hobbies include skiing, motorcycle riding, and competing in chess tournaments.
